ABOUT THE CLIENT
Cigar Social is a prestigious private members-only cigar lounge on Hay Street in the heart of West Perth. It was awarded Best Cigar Lounge in 2020 and was a finalist for the top 5 cigar lounges worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a part-time or casual sales assistant, you will be the primary point of contact for Cigar Social’s esteemed members, ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the exclusive lounge’s ambience. No prior knowledge of cigars is required; we are committed to providing comprehensive training for enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales: Assist members in selecting cigars, accessories, and beverages, providing expert recommendations and product knowledge.
Process Member Payments: Efficiently handle cash and card transactions.
Customer Service: Building strong relationships with members, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Lounge Maintenance: Contributing to the overall upkeep of the lounge, including cleanliness and ambience, i.e., dusting pre- and post-shift.
Stock Management: Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
Note. The above is a partial list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks to meet the organisation’s objectives.
ABOUT YOU
Ideal Skills
Have
· Free Availability to work Fridays from 4 PM to + PM and Saturdays from 12 PM to 5 PM
· Responsible Serving of ******* (RSA)
· Previous experience in hospitality or retail is desirable but not essential.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to
· Build rapport with members
· Work independently and as part of a small team
· Adapt to a dynamic environment

Please be advised that remuneration may differ based on factors such as your classification level, which will be under the Retail sector following the Retail Award.
