Position summary:
As a member of our New York city showroom, the Sales Assistant will provide our Account Executive with all the necessary support to the selling processes. You will assist with day to day operations of our Showroom. This position will also involve supporting customers as needed to ensure that requests are properly directed and addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
A day in the life:
Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and offering assistance
Work with our US Account Executive for pricing, line sheets, reports, etc.
Assist with merchandising and maintenance of the showrooms
Enter orders into the database and follow-up when necessary
Manage sample tracking
Pack and unpack samples
Coordinate between design, sales and production team and provide information regarding orders
Assist in sales meetings as needed
Other related tasks, depending on the needs of the Account Executive.
What you bring to the team:
Experience within the fashion industry (an asset)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as well as an inherent curiosity and willingness to learn
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word
Photoshop Beginner (an asset)
