About our Opportunity
As the Sales Manager overseeing Victoria and Tasmania territories, you will manage, influence and lead our eleven on-road sales representatives, ensuring delivery of continued profitable growth, accountability and improvement in sales. Home base for this role is at our Dandenong branch, with the expectation for the Sales Manager to be out in the field majority of the time, developing relationships with our top customers, providing support, development and coaching to the sales team by building constructive relationships across the team to cultivate a climate in which your Sales team will optimise sales outcomes and meet sales objectives.
In addition, you will:
manage the sales administration function:
develop the sales strategy/plan
sales forecasting
financial management reporting
deploy improved sales management processes, activities, and disciplines
workforce planning - recruit, onboard, and train high-performing sales representatives]
About You
Naturally a people person excited by coaching and growing a team of self-reliant sales team, your strength will be in your ability to bring energy, resilience and enthusiasm along with a practical and consultative hands-on approach to sales management. A highly motivated, results orientated leader with a bold approach to seeking new business, you'll thrive in the rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
You will have:
experience developing, coaching & managing a diverse (varying skill levels) and geographically spread-out sales team
passion for encouraging effective use of technology and systems
proficient experience with technology and CRM ERP's
strong business acumen
ability to produce accurate reporting and analysis
experience in Sales within the building and construction industry
a current unrestricted driver’s license
