Midland Food is a dynamic and growing seafood wholesale distributor serving the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in delivering high-quality frozen seafood and food products to restaurants, retail markets and other food service businesses.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to support our daily sales operations and basic marketing activities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in both sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with updating website content, product listings and basic online information
Support the creation of simple marketing materials such as product category and promotional content
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotations and product information
Coordinate with internal teams for order and product updates
Assist in organizing product tastings, promotions and customer visits
Perform basic market research and collect customer feedback
Provide general office and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or administrative roles
Experience in food industry will be an asset
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
Strong communication, organizational and coordination skills
Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
