Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, highly self-motivated Sales Representative to drive B2B sales across Saskatchewan while leading the identification, development, and expansion of new distribution outlets across the United States and remote Western Canadian markets.

This hybrid inside/outside role combines proactive field sales, strategic distributor development, cold calling, market analysis, and long-term partnership building. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and will play a critical role in expanding and formalizing our North American distribution network. This position is ideally suited for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial, growth-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities
Territory & Direct Sales (Saskatchewan)
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the Saskatchewan territory, including identifying, qualifying, and closing new B2B customers.
Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement, site visits, and value-added service.
Conduct cold calling, virtual meetings, and in-person sales presentations to key decision-makers.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation through contract execution and ongoing account management.

Distribution Development & Expansion (USA & Remote Markets)
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distribution partners across the United States and remote Western Canadian regions.
Lead distributor prospecting efforts, including market mapping, outreach, qualification, and selection of channel partners.
Negotiate and support distributor agreements in collaboration with internal leadership (pricing models, margin structures, territory coverage, and performance expectations).
Work closely with distributors to drive product adoption, sales growth, and market penetration within assigned regions.
Support new distributors through onboarding, training, product education, and sales enablement initiatives.
Monitor distributor performance against agreed targets and KPIs; recommend corrective actions or expansion opportunities as required.
Build strong, long-term relationships with distributor principals, sales teams, and operational contacts.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
Conduct detailed market analysis, competitive assessments, and opportunity evaluations to support territory and distribution planning.
Gather and share market intelligence related to pricing, competitors, customer needs, and regulatory or logistics considerations.
Contribute to annual sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline planning for both direct sales and distribution channels.

Reporting, Collaboration & Administration
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for senior leadership.
Maintain CRM records for all customer, prospect, and distributor activity.
Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, logistics, operations, and customer service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.
Attend and actively participate in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to support both direct sales and distributor development.
(Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs and growth objectives.)

Travel Requirements
Minimum 20% (with potential to exceed based on business needs). Frequent travel throughout Saskatchewan, with occasional travel to remote Western Canadian locations and the United States.


Qualifications & Requirements
Canadian citizen with the ability to travel freely into the United States.
Minimum 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience, with preference given to candidates with distribution, channel sales, or market expansion experience.
Demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, negotiating, presenting, and closing complex sales opportunities.
Experience identifying, onboarding, or managing distributor or dealer networks is a strong asset.
Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM systems.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently (minimum 20%, with higher travel during peak periods or market launches).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and sales reporting tools.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
