Our opportunity:
We're in search of a Salesforce CPQ Architect to spearhead project delivery and execution, ensuring our internal stakeholders' needs are met. This pivotal role involves crafting, developing, configuring, and rolling out Salesforce CPQ solutions vital for our daily business operations. Effective communication, innovative problem-solving, comprehensive documentation, and meeting deadlines are paramount. While the main focus is on Salesforce CPQ Solutioning, familiarity with other cloud applications would be advantageous, enabling a more holistic approach to our technological ecosystem
You will make an impact by being responsible for:
Lead and assist in hands-on solution design, solution architecture, proof-of-concepts, process flows, as well as configuration and deployment required to support current and new projects with Salesforce CPQ.
Work with business stakeholders to understand their processes, prioritize information needs, and translate these requirements into system solutions.
Execution of design, development, documentation of all technical aspects of Salesforce CPQ implementations and/or customizations
Working with external vendors that are developing portions of the new Salesforce solution and ensure compliance and that best practices are followed.
Stay up to date with new CPQ features and product launches from Salesforce and other technology partners
Seeking out ways to utilize SFDC CPQ to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
Troubleshooting and fixing defects for planned releases and production issues
Creating and delivering appropriate documentation, training and communication around feature(s) and process changes to internal Salesforce team
Working closely with other developers in the team, business analysts, QA analysts, and project managers
Working closely with business stakeholders and grooming requirements for dev team to work on.
You will be a great fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, or relevant field
7-8 years of the overall Salesforce experience, with 4+ Years Specifically in Salesforce CPQ
Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce CPQ solutions.
Strong understanding of CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing rules, quoting, discounting, billing, subscriptions, invoicing, contracting, tax calculations and revenue recognition.
Knowledge of integrating ERP systems or external accounting systems.
Experience in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components, APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST-based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScript
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce data modeling concepts and relational databases
Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Salesforce CPQ Specialist Architect certifications preferred.
Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
Willingness to work with teams spread across different time zones and odd hours
You excel in these key competencies:
Effective communicator, able to express ideas clearly in written, visual, or oral form with business and technical people
Ability and willingness to work alone in a self-directed and matured manner
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging capability
Strong ability to work under pressure
