DESCRIPTION

Who are we?

Ready to build Amazon's next $100B business? We're not just entering shipping—we're transforming how billions of packages move around the globe. By evolving Amazon's legendary fulfillment engine into an agile, intelligent shipping network, we're creating a resilient system that continuously optimizes to deliver on time, every time, for every business and every customer. Every shipment is more than just a box—it spins the flywheel faster, continuously enhancing our logistics network through scale, speed, and intelligence. As we increase density and reach, we're revolutionizing shipping for ALL businesses while simultaneously strengthening Amazon's own delivery capabilities—reducing costs and accelerating deliveries across our entire ecosystem.

What will you do?

We're hiring a Principal Solution Architect to define and drive the technical strategy for Amazon Shipping's partner ecosystem, enabling seamless integrations with enterprise shipping platforms, system integrators, and ISVs across a global network. You'll architect the future of our API platform, design enterprise-grade integrations for TMS, WMS platforms and shape the strategy for the Amazon Shipping App Center marketplace.

You'll provide architectural leadership for large-scale, partner-driven enterprise transformations, working at the intersection of technical excellence, business strategy, and ecosystem growth. This role requires deep technical expertise in API development, integration patterns, and distributed systems, combined with the ability to influence product roadmaps, establish technical governance frameworks, and represent Amazon Shipping in technical forums and industry events.

Your solutions will deliver significant, measurable impact on customer business outcomes—driving ROI improvements, revenue growth, and market share expansion through technical excellence and strategic innovation.

Working with global system integrators and ISVs, you'll validate complex customer architectures, resolve architectural challenges, and ensure the scalability, security, and performance of partner integrations. You'll drive thought leadership through technical publications, white papers, and collaboration with developer communities, while engineering next-generation integration patterns that set industry standards for shipping technology.

You'll collaborate closely with:
• Global system integrators and ISVs on complex enterprise architectures
• Product teams to influence API roadmap and prioritize partner-enabling features
• Engineering teams on API platform evolution and technical governance
• Commercial and Partnership teams on partner strategy and ecosystem growth
• Enterprise customers validating technical solutions and integration approaches
• Industry forums, panels, and developer communities as a technical advocate

Who are you?

You're a seasoned technical leader with deep expertise in enterprise-scale logistics technology and shipping integrations, combined with exceptional architectural skills and proven ability to drive ecosystem growth through technical excellence. You have hands-on experience architecting complex integrations with platforms like Coupa, Ariba, SAP, and Oracle, and understand how to build API platforms that enable advanced partner use cases.
