Sample Coordinator – High-End Women’s Footwear
Location: Lucknow
Department: Product Development / Production
Reports To: Product Development Manager / Production Head

Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Sample Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of footwear samples in our high-end women's shoe manufacturing unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all samples meet our luxury standards, are delivered on time, and align with design and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Management: Coordinate the creation, tracking, and approval of all footwear samples, ensuring they adhere to design specifications and quality standards.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise between design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure seamless sample development and timely delivery.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards and delivery timelines.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all samples, including specifications, approvals, and revisions, using tools like Excel or PLM systems.
Quality Control: Inspect samples for quality assurance, providing feedback to vendors and internal teams to address any discrepancies.
Logistics Management: Oversee the shipping and receiving of samples, ensuring timely distribution to relevant departments and stakeholders.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to ensure our samples are innovative and market-relevant.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years in sample coordination or product development within the footwear industry, preferably in a luxury or high-end manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of PLM systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes
Experience with luxury footwear brands or high-end manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures.
Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in footwear.
