Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Intel's SAP HANA databases to ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance.
Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, data replication, and data archiving to ensure data integrity and availability.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner, working closely with other team members and stakeholders.
Proactively identify and address potential database performance issues, taking necessary steps to optimize database performance and resolve bottlenecks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new database solutions, including data modeling, schema design, and data migration.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA features, patches, and upgrades, and implement them as needed to improve database performance and security.
Maintain documentation of database systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Act as a subject matter expert for SAP HANA databases, providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
Continuously monitor and improve database security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical database issues.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of database systems.
