Planning, installation, and maintenance of HANA DBMS software SAP system installation based on HANA Database
SAP HANA Database Administration
Administration Using SAP HANA DB Studio
Monitoring HANA Database errors
Diagnosis of problems and resolution for HANA software
SAP HANA Database backup and recovery
Database migration from RDBMS to HANA Database
SAP HANA Database performance fine-tuning and Optimization
Hands on experience in setting up HA & DR for HANA
Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
Good-to-Have
Proficient in SAP HANA DBA
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role (technical lead)
Experience in DB installation, upgrade, planning, setup and implementation.
Expert in troubleshooting and performing in-depth root cause analysis.
Hands-on experience in both scale-up and scale-out HANA systems.
Strong technical knowledge in Backup and recovery strategies, System Copies, High Availability and disaster recovery scenarios, Replication knowledge is must.
Knowledge in performance troubleshooting and optimization.
Well organized, willingness to learn and own the topics and share the knowledge with the team.
Willingness to take on call duty/Weekend tasks.
Preferable But Not Mandatory
Good OS and Scripting knowledge.
SAP Basis knowledge.
Experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
Should be able to lead the assignment. Should be good in collaborating with client's business.
Good understanding of the systems strategy, systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training and practical business solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, systematic approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and ability to work within a team and strong organizational skills
