Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned SAP PP Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing SAP Production Planning solutions to enhance our business processes. As an SAP PP Consultant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze production requirements, and provide expert guidance in configuring and customizing SAP PP modules.
Roles And Responsibilities
• Should work closely with product teams and technical data developers to understand data requirements, identify data extraction criteria, develop source to target mappings, conduct fit GAP analysis on data, and perform data loads in S4 system.
• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PP.
• Prepare detailed documentation of the solution design, configuration, custom development, and any operational procedures related to the upgrade.
• Responsible for data conversion activities for mock loads, cutover simulations, and production deployment.
• Responsible for identifying data issues and anomalies and working with data owners for data cleansing effort and remediations.
• Responsible for support data (master and transactional) needs for project testing cycles.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Ensure seamless integration of the upgraded module with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Plan and execute data migration from the current SAP system to S/4 HANA, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs. Design, customize, configure and testing of PP
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Manage data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities.
Must-Have Skills
• Should have at least 3-6 years of proven experience SAP PP functional consultant, ideally with a focus on implementing and upgrading to SAP S/4 HANA.
• Should have at least 2-3 successful completions of SAP implementations (SAP S4 HANA implementation preferred)
• Should have thorough understanding of SAP PTD Data - Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Batch, Serial etc.
• Should have experiences with SQL Queries and Proficient in MS Excel.
• Should have experience with SAP S/4 HANA data migration tools and strong data analysis skill is required
• Should have experience with handling Batch master and Serialized data
• Should have experience with loading transactional data during production deployment
• Should have experience in end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to support.
• Should have prior Experience in data migration projects, especially related to SAP upgrades.
• Should have In-depth knowledge of specific SAP PP and their integration with other modules.
• Should have familiarity With SAP S/4 HANAs capabilities and differences from SAP ECC.
• Should have strong skills in SAP configuration, customization, and problem-solving.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Competency in designing and optimizing SAP workflows to align with business processes.
• Experience in developing and conducting SAP training for end-users.
Good To Have Skills
• Should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field .
• SAP certification in relevant modules (such as PP) is highly desirable.
