Project Role : Database Administrator
• Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
• Management Level 10
• Work Experience : 4-6 years
• Work location : Mumbai
• Must Have Skills : Oracle Applications DBA
• Good To Have Skills : Oracle Applications Development
• Job Requirements :
• Key Responsibilities : a: Installation, Upgrade and Configure multi-node b: Troubleshooting long running sessions and Database Connection timeout issues c: Database Performance and tuning d: Work with developer and design optimal solution to the requirement e: Cloning of Oracle application production instances using Rapid clone f: Implement RMAN setup for database backups and plan backup g: Apply Applications patches using adpatch h:Apply CPU/PSU patches for database and applications
• Technical Experience : a: 3-5 Years Technical Experience in Oracle Projects b: Troubleshoot problems with web server, web listener, forms server, and concurrent managers, and database c: xperience in Configuring Shell scripts and PL/SQL Scripts d: Experience in Database Backups and Restores , point in time recoveries and Database Refresh using RMAN and Data Pump e: Experience in High Availability and DR environment f: Experience in Migration of Database Non RAC to RAC,Data Center Migrations,Migration to different platform
• Professional Attributes : a: Better communication to maintain good relationship with client and team b: should be able to discuss requirements with business users and complete the design c: should be able to explain and transition the requirements to technical team
