Full job description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school setting, focusing on an elementary caseload. Located in Thousand Oaks, CA, this contract role spans the full school year with a work schedule of 30-35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children.
Assess, plan, and implement effective intervention strategies to support students communication needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure to practice in California.
Experience working within K-12 educational settings, especially with elementary students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of current speech and language therapy techniques and best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Schedule: 30-35 hours per week
Duration: Full school year (NSY) contract
