SCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Organization: Dare to Care Bully Prevention & Life Skills Inc.

Position Type: 30h/week

Compensation: $54,000 - $64,000 per annum

Location: Remote (Within Canada)

Background

Dare to Care was founded in 1999 to address the pervasive and crippling impact that bullying continues to have on children, youth and adults to this day. While Dare to Care was originally focussed on school communities, in 2018 we expanded to the sports sector where it has made a meaningful, immediate and lasting impact with players, coaches and parents.

Today Dare to Care is a practical and comprehensive bully prevention program delivered across Canada in both online and in-person modalities. This proven and award-winning program has worked with more than one million participants and continues to create communities where bullying behaviour is unacceptable and kindness becomes the dominant force.

Position Summary

Dare to Care is seeking a dynamic and highly organized educator with a passion for social impact and a talent for both relationship-building and program delivery. The School Program Coordinator will play a vital role in the development, delivery, evaluation, and growth of Dare to Care’s bullying prevention initiatives within the education sector. The role includes promoting our online modules to new and existing clients, coordinating in-person workshops, and managing school registrations and client follow-up. This is a remote position, ideal for someone who thrives working independently while collaborating with a team of innovative and ambitious people.

Responsibilities:

Deliver Dare to Care workshops (virtually and in-person, as required)
Track school and participant progress and program impact
Tabulate and analyze data from post-workshop surveys
Anticipate and identify needed resources (equipment, videos, information, etc.)
Outreach & Development:

Design and implement rollout strategies for school programs
Identify and pursue new client opportunities (schools, districts, etc.)
Conduct outreach including cold calls, email campaigns, and client meetings
Promote and sell Dare to Care’s online programs and offerings
In consultation with E.D., assist in the creation and maintenance of online module content
Client Relations & Support:

Manage client follow-up and provide excellent customer service
Maintain accurate and secure client records in CRM systems
Manage registration processes and access through our online platform (Thinkific)
Support ongoing client engagement through regular updates and communication
Research & Sector Analysis:

Monitor trends in education, bullying prevention, and social-emotional learning
Conduct competitive landscape research within the school sector
Prepare insights and strategic recommendations for program development
Internal Operations & Team Collaboration:

Participate in weekly staff meetings and provide regular progress updates
Support strategic and business planning processes
Attend mandatory bi-annual staff retreat
Contribute to school blogs, newsletters, and internal communications
Assist with special projects as needed
Education, Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills, Office Environment

Degree in Education and experience in the classroom (At least 5 years)
Basic understanding with different online platforms including: google suites, learning management software (i.e. thinkific).
Experience with public speaking
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Strong organizational skills
Ability to travel
Occasional work on nights and weekends for conferences and program delivery
Bilingualism considered an asset
Sport sector experience considered an asset
