Lesson Planning and Preparation
Design and prepare engaging science lessons based on curriculum standards.
Incorporate diverse teaching methods, including hands-on experiments and multimedia resources.
Teaching Scientific Concepts
Teach subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, or earth science depending on the grade level.
Explain complex ideas in an accessible and age-appropriate manner.
Conducting Lab Work and Experiments
Plan and supervise safe and effective laboratory activities.
Teach students how to use scientific equipment and follow safety protocols.
Assessment and Evaluation
Design quizzes, tests, lab reports, and projects to evaluate student understanding.
Provide feedback and maintain records of student progress.
Classroom and Student Management
Classroom Discipline
Maintain a structured and respectful learning environment.
Address behavioral issues and enforce school rules.
Student Engagement and Support
Motivate students and support diverse learning styles and abilities.
Offer additional help to struggling students.
Professional and Administrative Duties
Curriculum Development
Collaborate with other teachers to update and improve the science curriculum.
Professional Development
Attend training sessions, workshops, and science education conferences to stay current.
Communication
Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress.
