Position: Part-time Science Teacher. (specializing in Chemistry and Biology).

Science Teacher (Online & In-person):
Provide personalized and effective one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Create tailored lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and the unique learning needs of each student.
Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and academic growth.
Assist students in understanding challenging scientific concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology.
Prepare students for AP, SAT, and IB exams by delivering targeted instruction and test-taking strategies.
Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, Science, etc.) with relevant education experience.
Strong command of Chemistry and Biology concepts across Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels (preferably in two or more disciplines).
Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment requirements of AP and IB programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and communication.
Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.

Job Details:
Full-time: At least 30 hours per week.
Part-time: Total teaching hours vary based on your availability.
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
Work Schedule:
On-call basis.
Teaching from Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours.
Weekend availability for teaching.
Teaching schedule adjustments might occur during school holidays.
Benefits:
Group Coverage (Full-time teachers only).
