Job Description
Position: Creative Science Teacher
Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging and hands-on science lessons for students in grades 5 to 10.
• Develop creative teaching methods and lesson plans that utilize experiments with homemade tems and other interactive approaches to make learning science enjoyable and relatable.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Incorporate real-life examples, case studies, and practical applications to help students connect science concepts to their everyday lives.
• Utilize technology, multimedia resources, and other innovative tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Conduct science experiments, demonstrations, and group activities that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate science with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in science education or working with children in an NGO setting.
• Strong knowledge of scientific principles across multiple disciplines.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject.
• Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with experience in conducting science experiments and using household items for demonstrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for instructional purposes.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing a nurturing learning environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Regular / Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
Schedule:
• Evening shift
• Rotational shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Jaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
