As a Scrub Nurse or ODP for (Gynaecology, Urology, and Robotics), you will:
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients as directed by the surgical team.
• Ensure specimens are correctly labelled and dispatched.
• Control cross infection by adhering to departmental policies.
• Participate in induction and orientation programmes for new staff.
• Prepare patients for clinical/operative procedures.
• Provide assistance in clinical/operative procedures.
• Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner.
• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate peri-operative patient care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to junior and less experienced staff.

The ideal Scrub Nurse or ODP candidate will have:
• 1st level registration Adult and/or Children or relevant Diploma/Degree.
• Previous perioperative experience in Gynaecology, Urology, and Robotics (at least 6 months robotics experience)
• NMC or HCPC registration.
• Ability to deliver high standards of care.
• Knowledge of current professional nursing issues.
