Job Description
Job Duties:
Rack and de-rack seafood products onto trays, racks, or conveyor systems.
Feed seafood products through processing machinery according to production specifications.
May be required to operate processing equipment (e.g., Vacuum Pack) and ensure they are cleaned and maintained after use.
Package seafood products in various forms (fresh, frozen, or processed) while ensuring accurate labeling and packaging according to regulatory requirements.
Record production information such as quantity, weight, date and type of products package.
Check products and packaging for defects and to ensure compliance to company standards.
Additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in seafood processing or related food production is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Fast-paced environment requiring efficiency and attention to detail.
Highly repetitive task environment.
Work performed in a refrigerated, cold-climate setting.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
Flexible to work various shifts and occasional weekends.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
