SEO Executive - Intern
Experience: 3 months - 1 year
Overview
This role is part of The Cogent - Marketing Team for the SEO Executive - Intern position. You'll need to create successful result-driven SEO campaigns for clients. Additionally, you should develop clear KPIs measuring the success of SEO and its ROI. Being a part of the inter-department team, you must work closely with the team to achieve SEO objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
● Keeping track of planning, execution, and evaluation (In cooperation with senior authorities)
● Conduct a general SEO Audit of the client’s website
● Conduct (Intermediate) on-site and off-site analysis of web SEO competitors
● Conduct keyword research (Intermediate level) using tools like Autosuggest, Ubersuggest, GKP, and other available tools
● Working knowledge of tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
● Assisting with blog content.
● Should produce high-quality (On-page) SEO content
● Performing On-page and Off-page optimizations (Intermediate level)
● Good knowledge of backlink analysis
● Basic understanding of web design and site structures
● Basic knowledge of Front-end languages (Preferable but not mandatory)
● Using near analytics to conduct performance reports regularly
● Learning and keeping pace with new trends and updates in SEO
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper alignment of SEO with overall business goals
● Preparing KPIs-driven reports
Requirement & Skills
● Degree/certificate or related (Preferable, but not mandatory)
● At least 1 year of experience in SEO
● Proven experience with live projects
● Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
● Ability to think logically and analyze data to bring meaningful deductions
● Monitoring, tracking, and analyzing SEO campaigns and providing regular reports
● Experience with reporting tools
● Familiarity with CMS - WordPress, Joomla, OpenCart, and others.
● Active listeners, fast learners and self- driven candidates are preferred
