Key Responsibilities:
Support and respect the School’s ethos, values and guiding principles
Provide a competent delivery of the curriculum and develop a modern learning environment/culture to enable learning.
Ensure the delivery of the curriculum in terms of content and pedagogy.
Teach as a homeroom teacher while supporting/coaching/mentoring the learning of Year * - 13 students as they move in and out of the learning space around their subject specialist classes.
Work with/assist the CP in the analysis of student data to identify strengths and areas for development.
Ensure feedback systems provide students with the information they require to improve their performance.
Provide regular reports to CP.
Identify professional learning and development needs throughout the year. Proactively manages their own appraisal and professional development.
Essential Experience
New Zealand registered Teacher.
Evidence of highly effective teaching in more than one year group.
Experience of working with and being part of a team of other adults.
Experience of Assessment for Learning Experience of leading a key curriculum area.
Has a wide view and knowledge of the curriculum and is concerned for the education of the whole person.
Is knowledgeable about and experienced in the modern learning environment and modern learning techniques.

Our campus has amazing facilities and is set amongst beautiful rolling green hills and close to the Kaipara Harbor. A beautiful rural setting yet still close enough to the cities of Whangarei and Auckland.
