ASSIGNMENT: General, Literacy (Gr 10-12) Indigenous Literacy and Numeracy support. Support Indigenous students toward academic success.
FTE: 0.5714
LOCATION: Correlieu Secondary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2025 until June 30, 2026
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Secondary Education with a major in Literacy and Numeracy
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching Indigenous Education
A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of local Indigenous Community

The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109, 520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
