Secondary Teaching Assistant - Unqualified

If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you as a Secondary Teaching Assistant - Unqualified in an outstanding Secondary School in Tower Hamlets! Within this position, you will be working alongside experienced Teachers and SLTs to effectively promote academic confidence and growth to the students.
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant - Unqualified, you will be undertaking structured learning sessions with students who are struggling academically. While also reviewing and adjusting the tasks and structure to suit the needs of each student to ensure the best progress is made. This role can also involve working alongside students with challenging behavioural and learning needs (ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression etc.), so you will need to be adaptable, adopting a different approach to each interaction you have to the most beneficial output.

• Secondary Teaching Assistant - Unqualified
• Working alongside the teacher to effectively deliver the lesson
• Supporting pupils in 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
• Reviewing pupil performance and working with teachers to create action plans to improve learning
• May involve supporting SEN and SEMH pupils (ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression etc)
• ASAP Start - Full-time position
• £106 - £115 per day - Term time only
• Located in Tower Hamlets
