Required:
Bachelors degree is required. Ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology
6+ years working in a SOC and/or strong security technology operations experience with recent experience in host-based and network-based security monitoring solutions including security content development
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certification in Certified Intrusion Analyst (GIAC), Continuous Monitoring (GMON), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent
Knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Unix
Exceptional operational rigor with experience in ITIL methodologies and other frameworks for IT security operations
Deep expertise in security concepts such as threat vectors, event and incident management, cyber threats and attacks etc.
Proficient in one more of the following computer languages: Python, Bash, Visual Basic or PowerShell
Deep understanding of Cyber Kill Chain and other applicable analytic models
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in security technologies such as: Security information and event management (SIEM), IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Proxy, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Endpoint detection and response (EDR), Anti-Virus, Sandboxing, network- and host- based firewalls, Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, etc.
Extensive knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) tactics, technics and procedures
Understanding of possible attack activities such as network probing/ scanning, DDOS, malicious code activity, etc.
Understanding of common network infrastructure devices such as routers and switches
Understanding of basic networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
Good knowledge in system security architecture and security solutions
