Position: GSOC Coordinator (Global Security Operations Center Coordinator)
Company Profile:
Our client is a leading multinational risk management company that offers Geopolitical risk advisory, travel security, consulting, and investigation services. We are presently hiring GSOC Coordinators for them.
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Coordinator, is, as part of the 24/7 GSOC, responsible for preparing (partly) and monitoring (mainly) security projects worldwide. The focus of this position is to control ongoing security operations, detect, analyze, and appropriately respond to all threats.
Responsibilities:
• Global monitoring & controlling of security operations
• Communicate directly with the internal team, vendors, and clients during routine and emergency
• Conduct risk analysis and provide guidance to our team and clients
• Understand, compile, and follow security procedures
• Create risk management reports
• Administrative functions, such as documentation, data tracking, de-briefs and updating work management softwares
• Understand operational information and create proper intra-shift briefs & exchange
• Gather relevant information from open-source services
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Political Science/International Relations, but we are also open to other fields)
• Alternatively, 3+ years' experience in the field
• Client-oriented, strong customer service sense
• Very strong operational thinking & judgement
• Ability to take decisions in stressful situations
• Clear, effective, and polite verbal articulation also under fast-paced conditions
• Flexibility to work in all shifts
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, work independently, and complete projects in a time-sensitive and demanding work environment
• Aware of global events in the security and geopolitical field as well as cultural sensitivity
• High degree of confidentiality
• Team-player + high level of independence
• Good knowledge of Microsoft (word, excel, outlook, ppt) as well as quick learner when it comes to client/work management platforms and monitoring tools
• Experience in conducting research and writing clear and well-articulated reports
• Very high English level, other languages are an advantage
Work Hours
• The schedule is rotating from 6AM-2:30PM, 2PM-10:30PM, 10PM-6:30PM
• As the GSOC operates 24/7, candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as well.
• Additional, scheduled, and unscheduled extra hours are possible but rare to ensure 24/7 coverage.
