Job Description
Title: Electronic Security Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $30-39
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Must Haves:
• 3+ years of experience installing security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder detection) in large commercial environments
• Experience installing IP/network cameras including connecting them to the network and aiming/positioning them
• Experience installing access control devices like card readers, door contacts, request for exit devices
• Ability to walk 10,000+ steps/day
Plusses:
• Experience installing Lenel and DMP systems (or similar systems like S2, Avigilon, CMP, Genetec, Bosch or Brivo)
• Experience installing Axis cameras
• Experience installing security systems in data centers
Day-to-Day:
• Interpret drawing packages to guide system installation
• Install Lenel CCTV and access control systems, including Axis cameras, and DMP intrusion detection products
• Maintain project timelines, especially for device and head-end installations
• Complete daily reports logging work completed
• Identify and report discrepancies in drawings or matrices promptly.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain records
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project
