Job Description
The role includes:
Teaching one to one, paired and group music lessons for 30/45/60-minute durations.
Preparing pupils for performances, examinations, and school events.
Keeping accurate record of student development and completing progress reports for parents.
Regularly communicating with parents regarding their child’s lessons and progress.
Providing pupils with practice strategies to extend and encourage them to learn independently.
Offering taster sessions to publicise music lessons within the school.
To monitor, assess and report on pupils in accordance with appropriate Westonbirt Schools’ Policies.

Founded in 1928, Westonbirt School is a secondary school with a sixth form for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. There are currently around 500 pupils enrolled at the school. It is situated on 210 acres of land in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The school has a thriving boarding community. Pupil numbers have grown rapidly since the transition to full co-education in September 2019.
