Job Description
We are looking for 2 Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants, with “full cycle accounting” experience (in audit and manufacturing business) to join our 50-member accounts team headed by a CFO (FCA). Our very professional accounts team has many qualified CAs, semi-qualified CAs, and skilled M.Com, B.Com graduates
You will be working from our head office at Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka)
NOTE: This is not a Work from Home positions
No. of Openings: Semi-Qualified CA 2 (Two)
Salary Range: 6 to 8 Lakh per year
Experience:
Minimum 3 (Three) years experience
At least 1 (one) year in Accounts Payable
(Audit and Manufacturing sector exposure preferred)
You must have excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting, taxation, and audit principles to analyze and prepare financial statements and forecasts. You must have experience in collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of financials statements, schedules and notes to accounts.
2. Review Accounts Payable and prepare various schedules required for month end closure of books and financials.
3. Attend to banking matters
4. Expertise in GST Acts and Rules, Income tax Act and Rules, various judicial pronouncements under the said Acts.
5. Closely work with other accountants in team to ensure accounting of financials transactions on timely basis.
6. General accounting operations, controlling and verifying financial transactions and supporting documents
7. Responsible for ledgers and month-end closings
8. Preparation and filing of GST returns and compliances

+. Quarterly audits of branches to ensure the documents are maintained as required under the laws of GST and Income tax.
10. Prepare financial statements, notes to accounts etc.
11. Possess good drafting skills to reply for queries raised by various law regulating agencies and departments.
12. Actively participate, support and Liaise in Statutory and Internal audits

13. Ensure statutory compliances for direct and indirect taxes, licenses, and registrations with various departments
14. Ensure that internal controls are followed, identify errors, gaps, inefficiencies and suggest new controls or update SOPs as needed
15. Mentor accountants at branches to ensure compliances and maintenance of documents as required under direct and indirect taxes and other applicable regulations.
16. Monitor Production, Costs and prepare MIS

17. Must have hands-on experience on popular ERP systems e.g. Microsoft NAV ERP, Tally ERP etc.
18. Must be flexible in taking up tasks assigned by your manager or CFO
