Salary for this role sits at £31,650 (M1) - £49,084 (UPS3) per year + SEN allowance £2,679. TLR2 allowance of £3391 will be available for the right candidate.
What you’ll be doing:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people.
Foster a positive learning environment that supports children and young people's educational and personal growth.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success.
Participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a teaching degree or equivalent
A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream primary or secondary settings and ECTs who feel they are ready to take on a challenge are very welcome
Teaching experience delivering the English National Curriculum (KS3/KS4)
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
