Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs? A specialist primary setting in Accrington is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking school that provides tailored support for pupils with SEMH, ASD, PMLD, and PLD. You will work with a skilled and supportive team in a well-resourced environment that places children's development at the heart of everything they do.
Position Details
• Role: SEN Teacher (Primary - Key Stage 1 or 2, depending on experience)
• Start Date: September 2025
• Contract Type: Full-Time
• Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS) to Upper Pay Scale (UPS) + SEN Allowance
• Location: Accrington, Lancashire

• Has experience teaching children with SEMH, ASD, PMLD or PLD
• Is compassionate, resilient, and able to adapt to individual needs
• Can plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons that promote progress and independence
• Has strong behaviour management strategies and a nurturing approach
• Can work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Brings energy, creativity, and a passion for inclusive education
