Science Teacher Daily Rate: £130 - £220 Location: Ealing Job Type: Long-term contract (until the end of the academic year) We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for education and a special touch for adapting to the unique needs of students in an SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting. This role requires a compassionate individual with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is ready to start as soon as possible and commit until the end of the academic year. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons that accommodate the diverse educational needs of SEN students. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning. Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports. Communicate with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors, and administrators to ensure that students are making progress. Provide individualised instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning. Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.). Required Skills & Qualifications: Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience as a Science Teacher. Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
