Position start date: September 2026
Contract type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for an Ofsted rated 'good' school with outstanding features who are looking for someone to join their amazing team for the start of the new academic year. In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support children with special needs on various levels of the autistic spectrum.
Key skills the ideal candidate will have:
You must be comfortable working 1:1 within an SEN role or with children in small groups
Demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skill
Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
Handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding
Experience working with young people or SEN in any capacity
Able to commute to Kingston
You must also have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one If you're keen to be an SEN Teaching Assistanrt then apply now with the next steps being the interview process which will start from 2nd September onwards
