SEN Teaching Assistant | Southwark, London SE4 | £+0 - £105 per day | September 2026
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the Southwark area. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from September, working the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities
• Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs
• Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Collaborate with other professionals to work towards the best outcomes for students
• Encourage active participation and engagement with learning
• Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
The Ideal Candidate Will
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree
• Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
• Have a passionate, calm and patient personality.
