Keep Education are working with a welcoming and well-resourced specialist SEN school near Ware, currently seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of pupils with a range of learning needs, including Autism, SEMH, and MLD.
The Role:
Delivering tailored English lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and differentiating content to meet individual learning plans (EHCPs)
Encouraging confidence in reading, writing, and communication
Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Collaborating with TAs, therapists, and SEN staff
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a SEN or alternative provision is highly desirable
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of literacy development
Patience, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive teaching
Confident in behaviour management and building pupil relationships
