Your Mission
You’ll own the full sales cycle for North America: running discovery calls, shaping conversations, and closing long-term partnerships in the $10K–$30K monthly MRR range. From the very first call, you’ll position Growth Shop as a trusted partner, diagnosing real business problems and turning them into profitable growth deals that compound over years.
You’ll also take responsibility for building the standard of how opportunities are qualified and closed. As volume grows, you’ll help refine the discovery-to-close playbook and ensure future hires can replicate the same level of consistency, credibility, and commercial outcomes.
This role blends consultative selling and commercial strategy, requiring someone equally comfortable with reading the room in real time, structuring deals for long-term profitability, and operating in fast-growth environments where playbooks are still being built.
What You'll Do
Run all North American discovery calls and full sales cycles from day one
Qualify opportunities, shape conversations, and close partnerships in the $10K–$30K monthly MRR range
Build trust with founder-operators and senior executives by diagnosing real business problems and aligning solutions with growth potential
Structure deals for long-term retention, strong contribution margin, and sustainable profitability
Ensure Growth Shop is perceived as a trusted partner from the very first call
Develop scalable sales processes, qualification criteria, and call frameworks that set the standard for future hires
Help design and refine the discovery-to-close playbook as the sales team grows
Who We're Looking For
You’re a consultative seller who knows how to win trust and close complex deals. You’ve sold into e-commerce and DTC before, working directly with founders and senior executives on high-stakes growth decisions.
You’re not just a closer… You run high-quality discovery calls, ask the right questions, and get to the truth quickly. You know how to frame value in commercial terms (profitability, contribution margin, and long-term growth) not just marketing metrics.
You thrive on pace, accountability, and outcomes, bringing structure and consistency to a sales process that fuels Growth Shop’s next stage of scale.
Your Experience
5+ years of progressive experience high-ticket, consultative sales with a proven ability to close complex service or solution deals in the $200K–$500K+ annual range (or $10K–$30K MRR)
Strong track record of selling directly to founders, CEOs, and senior executives and winning trust in high-stakes environments
Solid experience in e-commerce/DTC sales, ideally in digital marketing, growth consulting, or performance-driven services
Skilled at managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close with consistent top performance against targets
Experienced in running high-quality discovery calls, asking the right questions, and quickly qualifying opportunities
Comfortable working in ambiguous, rapidly scaling environments with limited structure

We set compensation using market data, role scope, and experience to make sure our offers are competitive and fair. For this role, the base salary range is: $100,000 - $150,000 CAD annually as well as variable compensation tied to deliverables. Where you’ll land within the range will depend on your skills, experience, and the impact you bring to the team.
