Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will play an important role on the Team supporting the company's growth by working closely with Finance, Operations, Marketing, IT, Development, and more
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for preparing the day-to-day corporate accounting functions from general ledger and journal entries to financial statement analysis and reporting
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate accounting, recording, and reporting of all revenue, expense, and balance sheet items
Overseeing the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
Conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting to provide insights into revenue and expenses, contributing to our strategic decision-making process
Managing sales & use tax, tax filings, and lease accounting, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Overseeing fixed assets and accruals, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into potential financial risks and opportunities
Provide support for internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Perform other essential duties and various special projects as needed
