Responsibilities
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the organization's financial health.
Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling account discrepancies.
Developing and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accepted policies and regulations.
Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Collaborating with the management team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Identifying and implementing improvements to processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, general ledger management, forecasting, and financial statements.
Proficiency in management accounting, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
A professional accounting certification (such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
