Our client is a leading importer/ distributor of fresh produce and specialty foods in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, supplying a wide range of foodservice clients, from restaurants to hospitals. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing company on a hybrid schedule located in the Bronx.
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant :
-Prepare and process journals related to month-end close activities
- Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled each month
-Support external year-end financial statement audit
-Review and analysis reports in addition to tracking and resolving any reconciling items
Qualifications of Senior Accountant :
-Bachelors in Accounting or related field
-4+ years experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel- v-look up, pivot tables
-Familiarity / Competency with Dynamics365, or other ERP/accounting systems
