We are a UK-based accountancy firm with a global outlook. We are committed to providing top-tier financial services to our clients, and we are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our India division.
Job Description:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for taking charge & managing our accounting & financial service operations in India. This includes business development, overseeing both internal and client financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and financial planning. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both Indian & UK accounting standards / regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations for our India division.
Prepare financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
Servicing client needs & answering queries
Liaise with our UK headquarters to ensure alignment of financial strategies.
Develop and mentor a team of accountants.
Qualifications:
Professional certification (such as ACCA, CA, or CPA) is essential.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Hindi & English.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Xero Tally, Zoho & Quickbooks.
