Job Title: Accountant
Job Overview:
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. Your role involves bookkeeping, transaction recording, and managing various financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Transaction Recording:
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Record all financial transactions accurately.
GST Compliance:
• File GST returns in a timely manner.
• Monitor GST credit and reconcile with GST-2A.
• Prepare and deposit monthly GST payments.
• Perform reverse charge mechanism (RCM) working.
TDS Management:
• Book TDS entries in Tally ERP.
Stock Management:
• Record inward and outward stock entries in TALLY ERP.
Expense Management:
• Daily entry of bills in ERP (Consumable Purchase, Direct & Indirect Expenses, Import & Export Bills, and Travelling Bills).
Ledger Confirmation:
• Monthly reconciliation of debtor and creditor accounts.
Record Keeping:
• Maintain organized and accessible financial records.
• Assist in quarterly audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
Vendor Management:
• Create vendor accounts and journal voucher (JV) postings in ERP.
• Perform vendor reconciliations.
Debtor Management:
• Prepare debtor's statements.
Internal Audits:
• Rectify and respond to internal audit findings.
E-way Bill Preparation:
• Prepare E-way bills as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
