Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, month-end closing, inventory control, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Analyze financial data and present reports to management for decision making purposes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
• Oversee and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures
• Provide support for audits and other financial assessments
• Manage general ledger processes
• International accounting functions
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/distribution environment
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Cost accounting experience is a plus!
