Our company is currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including monthly and annual accounting, direct and indirect tax returns, budgeting and forecasting, financial risk management, and auditing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively and independently. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all monthlyaccounts payable, and receivable, bank reconciliations
2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
3. Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
4. Assist with annual budget preparation and implementation, financial planning, and analysis.
5. Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
6. Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control frameworks, and management systems.
7. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
8. Interact with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
+. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
10. Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
