Responsibilities
The primary function of this position is to support the monthly accounting closes by performing analyses within the department and preparing audit support to ensure the successful completion of all audits
Prepare and support all required journal entries
Prepare support for tax returns
Review BVRs to ensure proper coding and classification
Serve as administrator for the banking system
Perform and assist with our day-to-day operational accounting and monthly close process
Prepare monthly journal entries for assigned areas of responsibility
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, review journal entries and conduct financial statement analytics
Monthly cash reconciliations
Provide support in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements for NPP and PDI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, monitor and analyze departmental and company-wide budgets and forecasts, providing insights on financial performances and variances
Client Engagement
Significant auditor interaction with PWC, banks and all state audits
Support the implementation of new ERP system
Assist in the development of new processes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of current reporting and analysis
Ability to complete various tasks while adhering to deadlines
No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions

POSITION PURPOSE

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

DATA ENTRY & INTEGRITY:
• Prepare and support all required journal entries
• Prepare support for tax returns
