Senior accountant position within a forward thinking accountancy practice in Edgware
This practice pride themselves on their excellent working culture, developing a small and dedicated team that provides personalised accounting services to small businesses and contractors.
This practice is part of a larger group of companies, which is a diverse and international organisation with commercial interests in a variety of sectors.

Senior Accountant Position Overview
• Accounts preparation - Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements for a variety of clients
• Tax Compliance - Preparing personal and corporate tax returns, and VAT returns
• Supervising and reviewing - the work of junior members of the team
• Client Management - Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
• Management accounts - Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Advisory services - Offer clients strategic on business structuring, financial planning, and other financial matters
• Compliance and reporting - Ensure that all statutory deadlines for tax, accounts and audit are met
• Overseeing day to day operations, supporting partners
Senior Accountant Position Requirements
• Preferably fully qualified or QBE
• Experience in a senior position within a practice preferably overseeing practice operations
• Minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience
• Able to work in Edgware office
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Senior Accountant Position Remuneration
• Salary depending on experience, ranging from £40-55k
• Fully office based role - Mon -Fri - +am-5pm
• Standard 28 days holiday
• Auto enrolment to company pensions after 3 months
• Christmas performance bonus
• Access to group reward scheme
