A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry
Extensive experience with general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
Experience with real estate investment entities, trusts and /or foundations
Proficiency in creating both standard and non-standard journal entries
Experience in managing the month-end and year-end close process
Ability to create accurate cashflow projections
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing a wide range of financial tasks, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on real estate investment entities, trusts, foundations, and other entities as assigned
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your core responsibilities will include
Maintaining and managing the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
Performing account reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy of financial information
Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas of concern
Managing trusts, foundations and real estate accounting projects, ensuring all financial data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations
Creating and managing both standard and non-standard journal entries
Overseeing the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and deadlines are met
Creating accurate cashflow projections, highlighting potential areas of concern to senior management
Continually reviewing and improving accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
