The role:
We’re on the hunt for a Senior Accountant to lead regional accounting operations and help build a best-in-class financial foundation. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, supporting compliance across jurisdictions, and enabling strong, data-driven decisions as Certn continues to scale.

What You'll be Doing:
Lead the month-end close process for the region, delivering accurate and timely financial results while continuously improving efficiency.

Oversee and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure completeness and compliance.

Own and manage regional financial documentation to support internal controls, audits, and ongoing compliance requirements.

Support the growth of our Australian operations by helping establish scalable financial processes that align with local regulations and global standards.

Collaborate closely with FP&A and cross-functional teams to align on reporting needs, support business planning, and drive operational insights.

What You Bring to the Table
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) and internal controls.

Proven ability to lead efficient close cycles and continuously improve financial processes.

Experience scaling a finance functions in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Skilled in analyzing and presenting financial data that informs decisions.

Background working within a group of companies or on consolidated financials.

A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership — you take initiative, identify opportunities, and follow through to make processes better.

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus: Experience with accounting systems and acting as a system administrator.
