Job Details

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Accountant to support domestic and international accounting operations.

Essential Functions
• Prepare and/or review month-end journal entries, which includes but is not limited to fixed asset reporting & depreciation, prepaid expense amortization, accrued expenses, accrued/deferred revenue, interest income
• Prepare and/or review bi-weekly payroll, calculations, data entry, reconciling, posting transactions
• Provide first approval of employee expense reports, reimbursements & payments
• Manage employee credit card expenses, reconciliation & payments
• Prepare/review/maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile employee benefit accounts
• Maintain financial reports, records, & general ledger accounts
• Reconcile, file, and pay sales tax returns
• Reconcile office leases
• Review aged A/R for write-offs, refunds, & misapplications
• Record and/or serve as backup for daily cash transactions including cash application, reconciliation of payments to invoices, & issuance of refunds for overpayments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in same work capacity

Professional appearance & demeanor for a professional office

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Working knowledge & understanding of GAAP
