Professional Search Group is seeking a Senior Accountant Financial Reporting for a rapidly growing company based in San Diego, CA. Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting & Consolidations will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the accounting consolidation and financial reporting of the company,
Senior Accountant Responsibilities
• Assist in the consolidation process, consolidating elimination entries and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual global close process.
• Coordination of quarterly and annual reporting packages and related information from U.S. and international teams necessary for preparing the financial statements and other reporting deliverables
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages, (Form 10-Q’s and Form 10-K’s for SEC filings).
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules for equity-based compensation accounting
• Maintain high quality supporting schedules and other documentation for compliance with internal controls, and work with internal and external auditors as necessary for testing of controls
• Participate in process improvements as part of continuous company-wide improvement initiatives
• Identify, research and evaluate variances or discrepancies and follow-through to resolution
Senior Accountant Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 3 to 5 years' experience in accounting
• Must have active CPA, or working towards CPA eligibility
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
• Large ERP experience, NetSuite is preferred
• Prior experience working with multiple entities, global offices, and foreign currencies preferred
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, financial models, analysis skills)
