Position: Senior Accountant (foreign subsidiary accounting)
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accounting resource with strong knowledge & experience in USGAAP, to manage our subsidiary's books of accounts and to ensure compliance with the relevant accounting laws & regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage all financial records in compliance with USGAAP and other accounting policies.
2. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Conduct financial analysis and provide MIS reports on financial performance to senior management.
4. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
5. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
6. Monitor and manage cash flow and recommend strategies to optimize cash management.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the US subsidiary's management team and finance staff, to provide high-quality financial information and analysis.
8. Develop and lead a team of junior assistants/accountants.
+. Continuously review and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance/CPA/CA
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting/finance, with a special focus on US GAAP.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
7. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
8. Proficiency in MS Excel/spreadsheets and familiar with working in an ERP environment.
