Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial data, managing areas of the general ledger, and supporting financial planning and reporting
You will take the lead in key accounting functions and ensure timely and accurate compliance reporting, both internally and externally
Oversee specific sectors of the general ledger, which includes the creation of journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis
Generate and scrutinize internal financial statements every month
Play a pivotal role in the constant evolution of accounting policies and standard operating procedures
Lead the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all targets are reached and deadlines are met
Carry out monthly variance analysis and generate ad-hoc financial reports as required
Maintain accurate financial records and manage specific areas of the general ledger
Provide support for fiscal planning and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate internal and external compliance reporting
Take a leadership role in key accounting functions
